Buzz Jackson has spent more than 30 years in country radio — with stops in Orlando and Jacksonville along the way, and the last 25+ years right here in Tucson. He is the Program Director and Afternoon Drive host at KiiM-FM 99.5, Tucson's Country Favorites, heard every weekday from 3 to 7 — and every morning across America on Westwood One's "Real Country" affiliates, from Sacramento to North Carolina and everywhere in between.
A two-time ACM Award winner and CMA Award winner with four Marconi nominations (2015, 2019, 2021, and 2026), Buzz was inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame in 2021 and has twice been named a top country programmer by Radio INK. In July 2025 he guest-announced at the Grand Ole Opry — introducing Darryl Worley on the Opry 100 celebration.
Around town, he's known as the "Voice of Marana," the host of the Town of Marana's four annual signature events.
